Bar Polski
About This Spot
Stepping into Bar Polski, tucked away just off bustling central London streets, feels like slipping into a hidden nook where time slows down just enough to savor something genuinely heartfelt. This is a relaxed bar and restaurant where the hum of quiet conversation blends effortlessly with the clink of glasses, inviting you to settle in without fuss or hurry. The atmosphere carries a comforting simplicity — nothing over-styled, just a warm, unpretentious space where authenticity takes center stage.
Behind the modest façade, Bar Polski offers a thoughtful journey into Polish flavors and conviviality. It’s a place where the ritual of choosing pierogi accompaniments feels less like ordering and more like sharing a piece of tradition, while infused vodkas and hearty platters appear as invitations to linger, taste, and connect. The bar’s spirit selection is far from ordinary, with a range of creative shots and vodkas that add a playful yet sincere twist to every toast.
There’s a familiar ease here that makes it stand apart — it’s not a bustling tourist hotspot nor a sleek cocktail lounge, but rather a cozy corner where local regulars and curious visitors find something genuine. The mood is unforced and friendly, where staff quietly guide you through the menu with warmth and attentiveness, including thoughtful consideration for special dietary needs. It’s the kind of place you return to after your first visit because the combination of solid food, honest drinks, and down-to-earth atmosphere feels like a small, well-kept secret shared among friends.
In essence, Bar Polski is not about grand gestures or glossy finishes but about the comfortable, unpretentious pleasure of a good meal and drink, enjoyed at the right pace. It's a spot that rewards those who come for the simple joy of discovery, with a touch of Polish heart in the heart of London.

Great bar which is not too packed on a Friday night compared to the local pubs. They have cool flavoured tequila and other shots

Great little bar serving strong and infused vodkas. Beers. Pierogis in an odd but comfortable bar area. Recommend!

I enjoyed my visit there. The staff were friendly and helpful in helping me to find gluten-free options. The service was quick too. However, they got the wrong order for me. I would be interested in trying some of the alcohol selections next time I come back.

Simple bar that is just perfect. Delicious and authentic Polish food, reasonable prices and incredible alcohol selection (vodka and beers!) ! The interior could do with tiny improvement to take it to next level but that’s it! Love this place - often come back.

Fantastic food and drink at sensible prices. I recommend the hazelnut chocolate and raspberry vodkas especially. Nice choice of beers too. Will return.

Huge selection of vodkas, amazing polish food and a great atmosphere. The staff is always super nice and giving recommendations. The potato fritters and fried pierogi are always our go-to, with the 3x dips to accompany. Vodka-wise, hazelnut chocolate shots are a must! Favourite bar in London!

This bar has an excellent selection of wines and beers to choose from. The food is excellent and the Goulash with polish potato pancakes is delicious. The service is very efficient and friendly. We will certainly aim to visit this bar whenever we are in London

Just stopped off for a couple of early evening drinks. A bit quiet but got busier. Good Polish beer and caramel vodka! Friendly staff. I’ll go again.
